What makes partition table so important?
Partition information is stored in the partition table, a reserved area at the beginning of a hard disk. Backup partition table is very importance for data security. When you want to do some changes to the disk, you'd better backup partition table. What is more, partition table can also be damaged by virus, so it is recommended to back up in time.
There is a time when I ghost files to c partition. But it crashes midway. Then I can not see my other partitions (E, D, etc). Thanks to the previous back up by Spotmau. I think maybe they are not damaged badly. And that is how it worked. I finally managed to recover, rebuild other partitions. Everything comes back!
